Xiaomi will Sell 25,000 units of Redmi 1S Today At 5.00PM on Flipkart
Xiaomi is conducting its weekly flash sale today on Flipkart. The company is giving away 25,000 units of the Redmi 1S, for which 150,000 people have registered. The sale is set to begin at 5.00PM, and the device is priced at Rs 5,999.
Unlike the previous times, the Redmi Note 4G flash sale at 2.00PM will not happen today. Xiaomi had made the Redmi Note 4G available throughout the long Republic Day weekend, and therefore, will now make the Redmi Note 4G available next Tuesday on February 3, for which registrations are open. The company also sold their old Mi 3 all of yesterday, as part of their Republic Day celebrations.
Furthermore, the company is set to unveil the Mi 4 tomorrow at a press event in Delhi. For today’s sale, Flipkart suggests that the registered users be online at least 2-3 hours prior to the sale to up their chances to grab the device. Last week, the Redmi 1S was sold out in 5 seconds.
To recap on the Redmi 1S specs, it has a 4.7-inch HD 720p display, a 1.6GHz Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor paired with Adreno 305 GPU and 1GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 1.6-megapixel front-facing camera, 8GB internal storage that can be further expanded using the microSD card slot, and a 2,000mAh battery. Xiaomi Flash Sale Of 60,000 units of Redmi Note 4G and 30,000 units of Redmi 1S on Flipkart Tomorrow, Registration will end Tonight
Xiaomi is conducting its dual flash sale tomorrow and like all the previous times, the Redmi Note 4G flash sale is happening at 2.00PM, while the Redmi 1S flash sale will begin at 5.00PM. Xiaomi is giving out up to 60,000 units of the Redmi Note 4G, and 30,000 units of the Redmi 1S tomorrow, for which registrations will end tonight.
Only registered users will be able to participate in tomorrow’s sale. Both the sales have separate registration buttons, and there is also an option to register for both sales.
Last week’s sale saw 50,000 units of the Redmi Note 4G go out of stock in 2 minutes 50 seconds seconds. nearly 50,000 units of the Redmi 1S went out of stock in seconds too. Flipkart suggests all registered users to be online two to three hours before the sale, to up their chances to grab the device.
The decision to sell two handsets on the same day came as a celebratory feat for Xiaomi, who recently announced it sold 1 million smartphones five months. However, the company has now decided to continue the trend.
To recap on the Redmi Note 4G specs, it is powered by a 1.6GHz Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor paired with Adreno 305 GPU and 2GB RAM. It also features a 5.5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS display, 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front camera, and 8GB internal storage, microSD card support, and a 3,100mAh battery. On the software front, it runs on Android KitKat wrapped under MIUI 5. Connectivity options include single-SIM card slot, and the device supports both FDD-LTE at 1800MHz, and TDD-LTE at 2300MHz.

Xiaomi Redmi 1S 50,000 units Sold out in 11 Seconds, Next Sale on 20th January
Xiaomi has just announced that all its 50,000 Redmi 1S units that went available for sale at 5PM earlier today sold out in 11 seconds. This goes on to suggest how demanding the affordable Redmi 1S handset has been so far. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer also announced that it will be holding another flash sale for the Redmi 1S handset on January 20.
Earlier yesterday, Xiaomi India head Manu Jain had announced that 500,000 Indians had registered for the device for this week’s flash sale. Also in the noon, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G, which was available for purchase at 2PM went out of stock in 2 minutes and 50 seconds. The company noted that there were 200,000 registered users for the Redmi Note.

Xiaomi will Launch New Redmi Series Smartphones Tomorrow (Update Photos Leaked)
Xiaomi has announced that it will launch a new Redmi series smartphone on January 4th, 2015 in China. It will come with dual SIM support and LTE connectivity. Xiaomi has not revealed the complete specifications of the smartphone yet. It will come in a range of colors and will be available from QQ space.According to TENAA listing, the upcoming Redmi series smartphone is likely to come with a 4.7- inch HD display, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC, run on MIUI 6.0. based on Android 4.4, equipped with 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal storage with expansion slot and a 2200mAh battery. It is expected be priced similar to the Redmi 1S.
Xiaomi already announced that it will launch a new flagship smartphone in January 2015, but the company is yet to announce a launch event. Lei Jun, Founder and CEO, Xiaomi said on weibo that the upcoming Redmi smartphone is just the beginning for 2015. Hope we can expect a range of smartphones from Xiaomi next year.
