Sony has officially launched its recent flagship smartphones, the Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact in India. The Sony Xperia Z3 is priced at Rs. 51,990 while the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact will set you back by Rs. 44,990 which can be considered quite hefty. Both these devices, which were unveiled during IFA 2014, will be available in online as well as offline stores starting today.

While competitors like LG G3, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Oppo Find 7 feature QHD displays, Sony has decided to use a 5.2-inch IPS LCD display with 1080p resolution in the Xperia Z3. The Sony Xperia Z3 Compact on the other hand features a 4.6-inch HD IPS LCD display. Both these devices run Android 4.4.4 KitKat and feature 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 processor and 16GB of internal storage space which can be further extended by an additional 128GB using a microSD card slot. Both these smartphones feature 20.7MP Exmor RS camera sensors with autofocus lens and single LED flash with an ability to record 4K videos and 120fps slow-motion videos.
