XOLO Unveiled Q900S with 4.7-inch HD Display 1.2Ghz Quadcore Processor Android 4.4 Smartphone At Rs 8,299

Xolo has unveiled Q900s Plus an upgraded variant of the Q900s that was introduced back in July. It has a 4.7-inch HD display compared to 4.7-inch qHD display on the Q900s and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) out of the box. Other specifications are similar including a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 (MSM 8212) processor with Adreno 302 GPU, 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.

It has 1GB RAM, 8GB internal memory with expansion slot and a 1800 mAh battery.

XOLO Launched Win Q900S 4.7-inch Display Windows Phone 8.1 Smartphone At Rs 9,999

The domestic smartphone maker XOLO forayed into Windows Phone territory with the launch of the Win Q900S. The vendor introduced the smartphone as the world’s lightest 4.7-inch smartphone in June this year. Pre-orders for the phone started at the same time exclusively on Snapdeal with availability in the second week of July, but it was delayed. However, now the phone is finally available to buy on Snapdeal 9,999 and from brick and mortar retail stores across the country.  

For those unaware, the XOLO Win Q900S smartphone weighs in at 100 grams, and is quite thin as well with a frame of 7mm. Feature-wise, the phone offers a One Glass Solution based 4.7-inch HD display with a layer of Dragontrail glass for protection against scratches. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, paired with 1GB of RAM. For storage, it comes with 8GB of internal memory, which is further expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card. The photography department is covered by an 8MP camera at the back with an LED flash, and a 2MP front snapper for video calling purposes. The dual-SIM smartphone comes with the regular array of connectivity features and is fuelled by a 1,800mAh battery.

In June, Micromax also unveiled its first budget Windows Phone 8.1 smartphones, the Canvas Win W092 and Canvas Win W121, priced at Rs 6,500 and Rs 9,500 respectively.

Xolo launched the Win Q990s, it’s first Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone last month as the lightness Windows Phone 8 smartphone. Today the company has unveiled the Android variant of the smartphone called Q900s. It has a 4.7-inch qHD display instead of 4.7-inch HD display on the Win Q900s and this runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) that is upgradable to Android 4.4 (KitKat). It is just 7.2 mm and weighs 100 grams.

Other features are similar to its Windows Phone variant, including a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 (MSM 8212) processor with Adreno 302 GPU, 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It has 1GB RAM, 8GB internal memory with expansion slot and a 1800 mAh battery.

Xolo has announced their first Windows Phone 8.1 device, the Xolo Win Q900S. It is targeting the Lumia 630 Dual SIM with its price of Rs 11,999. The device comes with a 4.7 inch HD display, quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, dual SIM card slots and 8MP camera. You can pre-order the Xolo Win Q900S at Snapdeal for Rs 9,999.
