Motorola announced Moto X Play with 5.5-inch FHD Display Snapdragon 615 Processor 21MP Camera priced at Rs 17,000(approx)

Motorola is going the aggressive way to strengthen its mid-range offerings. Motorola has just announced a new smartphone called the Moto X Play which will retail for around the $279 (roughly Rs 17,000) mark which is expected to give a major chunk of mid-range smartphones a run for their money. The Moto X Play comes with a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and boots Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

It has a 21-megapixel camera at the rear with a dual-tone LED flash which is expected to be the best-in-class. There’s a 5-megapixel front camera joining it in. A Snapdragon 615 chipset ticks under the hood. Its battery is one of the better things about it. It has a 3,630mAh battery which is better than a major chunk of the flagships out there and it promises 48 hours of mixed usage. Motorola is further bundling a TurboPower  25 charger that promise a charge for running the device for 10 hours within 15 minutes. Here’s a look at its specifications:
