Coolpad made its debut with the Launch of Coolpad Dazen 1 and Dazen X7 in India At Rs 6,999 and Rs 17,999
After teasing its debut in India over the last couple of months, Chinese smartphone maker Coolpad made its debut here today. The brand has marked its entry in the Indian mobile phone market space with two devices – the Coolpad Dazen 1 and Dazen X7, and has tied up with Snapdeal as an exclusive retail partner. The dual-SIM smartphones run the Android 4.4-based CoolUI, and support India’s 4G LTE networks.
The Coolpad Dazen 1 offers a 5-inch HD display and a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor. The device houses 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory, which can be further increased up to 32GB. The camera department features an 8MP autofocus primary shooter with an LED flash and f/2.2 aperture, and a 5MP secondary snapper. It is fuelled by a 2,500mAh battery. It will be available in Moon Dust Grey and Snow White hues.
The Coolpad Dazen X7 is a high-end device with a 5.2-inch full HD display. It is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6595 processor, further supported by 2GB of RAM. For storage, it has 16GB of inbuilt memory, which users can further expand up to 32GB via a microSD card. For imaging, you get a 13MP OIS rear camera with a 6P lens, f/1.8 aperture, and a dual-tone LED flash. There’s also an 8MP front shooter on board for selfies. The phone has a Pro mode that offers a bunch of tweaks and camera settings. A 2,700mAh battery keeps the device running, which promises eight hours of talk time and 150 hours of standby time. The Dazen X7 will be available in Gold and Titanium White variants.
The Coolpad Dazen 1 has been priced at Rs 6,999, and will be available via the flash sale model, for which registrations open today. The Coolpad Dazen X7 will be available directly to purchase from Snapdeal for Rs 17,999. Both smartphones will go on sale on June 9th. HCL will be handling after sales service for these devices.
