Facebook Launched Video Sharing App Riff for Android and iOS

“Facebook’s Riff lets friends add clips to your shared videos”

Facebook has launched a new video sharing app called Riff. Designed by Facebook’s Creative Labs team, the collaborative video app lets you a create a short video that your friends can add clips to. Riff is the social networking giant’s take on services like Vine, Instagram Video, Snapchat and others.

To use the app, you’ll need to login with your Facebook account. You then need to create a video clip (up to 20 seconds in length) and assign tags to it. Once your video is live, your Facebook friends who use the app will receive a notification, after which they can add their own video clips to it. Currently, there’s no limit to the number of videos that can be added to a Riff. Apart from viewing videos in the app, you can also choose to share them on Facebook. Additionally, you can watch featured videos by the Riff team.

Riff is now available to download on Android/iOS.
