Samsung took the wraps of its flagships Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge last night in Barcelona at MWC 2015. The company did not reveal any timeline for launch in India, but iGyaan is reporting that both the smartphones are coming to India on April 10. The report also revealed the pricing of the smartphones in the Indian market.

The Galaxy S6 is slated to be priced at Rs 52,999, while the Galaxy S6 Edge will likely be priced at Rs 61,999. The report does not provide any clarity on the individual storage variant prices, but we speculate this price to be the 32GB variant’s price tag. Last year’s flagship Galaxy S5 was launched with a price tag of Rs 53,500.

As  far as the specifications are concerned, the Galaxy S6 sports a 5.1-inch QHD display, Exynos 7420 octa-core processor with 64-bit capability and 3GB of RAM. It has a 16-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front camera and on the software front it runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box wrapped under an overhauled TouchWiz UI. Also included are 32/64/128GB of internal storage, a non-removable 2,550mAh battery with Ultra Power Saving Mode and wireless charging capabilities.

Except for the display, the Galaxy S6 Edge has similar specifications.  The display curves on both sides, and all the way to the back. The curved portion acts as a secondary display where you can view notifications and launch applications with one hand.
