OnePlus One To be Available on Amazon India Tomorrow, without invite

Marking ten weeks since they arrived to India, OnePlus One is commemorating this milestone with a no-invite-needed open sale tomorrow. Starting 10.00AM, you will be able to purchase a OnePlus One from Amazon India without the need of an invite code.

Traditionally to buy a OnePlus device, users need an invite from the company or a friend who has it, to be able to purchase the device. However, tomorrow no such thing is required. This no-invite model will last only for 24 hours, after which the invite-model will be activated again.

OnePlus One is all set to roll out its next update based on Android 5.0 Lollipop. OnePlus has built a customOS called Oxygen for Indian users after the fallout with local giant Micromax. The new devices were also seen shipped without the Cyanogen branding across regions to keep the uniformity in manufacturing.

The phone is being retailed for Rs 21,999 in the country. To recap on OnePlus One’s specifications, it flaunts a 5.5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display, and is powered by a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM. Also included is 64GB internal storage.

Additionally, it also features a 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 3,100mAh battery. On the software front, the smartphone runs on the CyanogenMod ROM CM11s with several customized features.
