As expected, Samsung has finally revealed the date of its next Unpacked event. The company has started sending out invites for an event taking place in Barcelona on March 1st, right before MWC. The brand is expected to unveil the Galaxy S6 flagship in that event. The invite shows a mysterious device slightly curved on the side. The rumour mills suggest that the Galaxy S6 will feature a completely new design, and Samsung may also release a different variant of the device with a dual-edged display.

Recently, the alleged images of the Samsung Galaxy S6 clad in Spigen cases were spotted on Amazon. According to the reports, the leaked images are of the regular edition of the Galaxy S6, without an edged display. Those pictures indicated that the smartphone will have its LED flash and heart rate sensor on the right side of the primary shooter at the back.

According to the rumours, the Samsung Galaxy S6 will sport a 5.2-inch QHD display, and will be powered by an octa-core Exynos 7420 processor, coupled with 3GB of RAM. Samsung has reportedly ditched the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC in favour of its in-house Exynos CPU due to overheating issues during testing. We will know more about the flagship in less than a month, so watch this space for new updates.
