Xiaomi Slashed Prime of Redmi Note 4G To Rs 8,780
Lenovo’s affordable LTE smartphone, the A6000, is all set to go on sale tomorrow via Flipkart. In what seems like a response, Xiaomi has slashed the price of the Redmi Note 4G to Rs 8,780.
The Redmi Note 4G was launched for Rs 9,999, but as seen in the above photo, it now retails at Rs 8,780. The phablet is set to go on sale again next Tuesday on February 3. The Redmi Note 4G was on sale over the weekend sans registrations in celebration of Republic Day. The company however hasn’t revealed how many units it sold in the three days. Later today, only the entry-level Redmi 1S will be available, and the sale kick starts at 5:00PM.
As mentioned above, the Lenovo A6000 will go on sale via Flipkart tomorrow. The LTE-capable smartphone is priced at Rs 6,999 and features a 5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) display and 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor with 64-bit capability.
Also included is 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, 8-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, twin-speakers with Dolby Digital Plus technology and a 2,300mAh battery that the company claims is good enough for 13 hours of talktime and up to 11.5 days on standby mode.
Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, Dual-Mode LTE support (both TD-LTE Band 40 and FD-LTE Band 20), Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.0. On the software front, the smartphone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat wrapped under Vibe UI 2.0.
