Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G Booking Now Available On Airtel Store


At the Redmi Note 4G launch, Airtel partnered with Xiaomi to sell the smartphone through Airtel flagship stores across six cities in India. The smartphone went on sale on Flipkart on 30th December for Rs. 9,999 in the first flash sale, and 40,000 units sold out in 6 seconds. Now Airtel has started bookings for the Redmi Note 4G smartphone on the official website. The smartphone will be available across 133 stores in six cities – Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Delhi-NCR and Kolkata.

Announcing the pre-booking of Redmi Note 4G, Airtel said:

Mi India fans can now book their Redmi Note 4G online and select their preferred Airtel store and date for purchasing the device. Customers purchasing the device will be provided a 4G SIM. Existing 3G users can enjoy 4G speeds on their new Redmi Note 4G at the same tariff as their existing 3G plan, without activating any special 4G plan.

In cities where Airtel 4G services are not yet available, customers will be automatically upgraded to 4G at the same tariff as their existing 3G data packs as and when 4G services are rolled out in these cities. The Redmi Note 4G will be sold at these stores on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Airtel will organise Mi Day each week at select stores in the six cities that would let customers buy the device without pre-booking. Postpaid customers with activate a 3G data pack of at least 500MB can easily move to the Redmi Note, prepaid and non-Airtel customers will have to first opt for an Airtel postpaid myPlan when they purchase the Redmi Note 4G.

Postpaid customers in Bengaluru will get double data benefits on their 4G plans as a promotional offer. Redmi Note will be available in Airtel stores in more towns subsequently. Airtel subscribers can book their Redmi Note 4G here.
