5 Best Smartphone Of 2014 in price range of Rs 20,000 to Ra 30,000

The sub-Rs 30,000 smartphone price segment in India saw the debut of the OnePlus One, which was one of the most awaited smartphones this year. Besides the One, Motorola too launched its improved flagship Moto X in this range earlier this year. As we come close to the end of the year, here are the top five smartphones launched this year that made a mark in this price bracket.

1. OnePlus One

The much-awaited “flagship killer” was launched in India earlier this month with a tempting price tag of Rs 21,999. The OnePlus One has made waves around the world by offering flagship-level specifications at nearly the half price. While it is not easy to get one’s hands on the smartphone due to the company’s invite system, it is still one of the highly recommended smartphones.

2. Motorola Moto X (second-generation)

Motorola’s flagship Moto X got even better in its second iteration. It is not just an upgrade, but a completely new phone with premium looks, specifications and features. The second-generation Moto X boasts an aluminum frame, and has top-of the line specifications. It also carries forward the features that made the original Moto X a hit, including Active display and Touchless controls. The new Nexus 6 smartphone developed by Motorola too is based on the Moto X.

3. HTC Desire 820

The Desire 820 makes the cut with the kind of features it offers, especially the 8-megapixel front facing camera. The device is aimed at selfie lovers, and HTC has also included a wide angle lens for when you want to fit all your friends in a snap. HTC has also launched a budget variant of the device as well called the Desire 820q, which is powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor.

4. Sony Xperia T3

Sony claims that the Xperia T3 is the “slimmest 5.3-inch smartphone in the world.” While it may not be a flagship device, the smartphone follows the OmniBalance design language and offers decent set of specifications, including LTE capability. It features a 720p display, Snapdragon quad-core processor, 8-megapixel/1.1-megapixel cameras, and runs on Android KitKat.

5. Lenovo Vibe Z

The Vibe Z was launched earlier this year priced above Rs 30,000, but has since seen a price drop and now retails around the Rs 22,000 mark. At this price point, the smartphone offers a lot of bang for the buck. It features full HD display, Snapdragon 800 processor, 13-megapixel/5-megapixel cameras, and a huge 3,000mAh battery.
