Spice has unveiled the Hindi version of its Dream Uno Android One smartphone today. Dubbed as the Spice Dream Uno H, the new phone comes with a Hindi keyboard, Hindi UI, Hindi voice search support, and the Hindi versions of the popular Google applications like Search, Maps and YouTube. It is also pre-loaded with other Hindi apps like Aajtak, Sony Live and Hungama.
Besides complete Hindi support, the Spice Dream Uno H is basically the same as the previously launched Dream Uno. The device sports a 4.5-inch IPS display, runs Android 4.4 KitKat, and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor. It houses 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card. The rest of the specs include dual-SIM slots, 5MP/2MP cameras, and a 1,700mAh battery.
“The product has been especially designed for the 300 million Hindi speaking people focusing on states such as Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Bihar,” the company said in a release.
The Dream Uno H is priced at Rs 6,499 and will be available through major retail stores. However, the device can be grabbed from Snapdeal at a discounted price of Rs 6,299.
