Intex has launched two new Aqua series entry-level Android smartphones, the Aqua R3 and Aqua V3. Both of these devices run Android 4.4 KitKat, and are listed on the vendor’s website for Rs 2,570 and Rs 3,260 respectively. The company is expected to announce the availability of these phones in the coming days.

The Intex Aqua R3 features a 3.5-inch display with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels, and is powered by a 1GHz RDA 8810 processor coupled with 256MB of RAM. It offers 512MB of internal memory, which you can further expand up to 32GB via a microSD card. The device has a 2MP rear camera with an LED flash and a VGA front snapper. In terms of connectivity, the phone has dual-SIM slots, 2G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a-GPS. It is fuelled by a 1,400mAh battery, which as per the vendor delivers 3.5 hours of talk time and 180 hours of standby time.

The Intex Aqua V3 on the other hand is a 3G smartphone with a 1GHz Spreadtrum 7715 processor, 2GB of internal memory, a 2MP autofocus rear camera, Wi-Fi Hotspot, and a 1,300mAh battery. Other features are similar to the Aqua R3.

The company recently launched the Intex Aqua KAT Android 4.4 KitKat, a 1GHz dual-core processor, 3G, and a 1,300mAh battery for Rs 2,999.
