At its price of Rs 4,899, the Andi 4L PULSE is one of the most affordable Windows Phone offerings in the market.”

With Microsoft completely waiving off the Windows Phone license fees for manufacturers, we have been seeing a clutch of homegrown brands enter the fray. After major brands like Micromax and Lava, the latest company to dip its toes into the platform is iBall with the Andi 4L PULSE. While the device hasn’t been announced officially, Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom has shared its complete spec sheet and pricing details.

The specs of iBall’s offering are exactly same as recent WP8.1-based budget devices, since it also seems to be based on Qualcomm’s Reference Design. The iBall Andi 4L PULSE is fitted with a 4-inch display panel, which bears a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. Powering it up is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 SoC, which offers four Cortex-A7 cores ticking at 1.2GHz. The processor runs in sync with a gigabyte of RAM.

Storage needs are taken care of by 4GB of built-in flash memory. However, this can be expanded further up to 64GB via a microSD card. Plus, WP 8.1 allows users to transfer installed apps to the external card. For photography purposes, the iBall Andi 4L PULSE is supplied with a 5-megapixel autofocus camera at the back with LED flash, and a 2MP shooter in the front.

The Windows Phone 8.1-based smartphone also comes pre-installed with Microsoft apps such as Office 365 and OneDrive. For connectivity, the iBall Andi 4L PULSE has support for dual-SIM cards along with 3G compatibility on the primary slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0 and GPS. The juice is provided via a 1,500mAh battery.

The iBall Andi 4L PULSE is available at a price of Rs 4,899, making it one of the most affordable Windows Phone offerings in the market.
