Following the launch of its first budget-performance smartphone, the Arya Z2first impressions), electronics brand Salora is back with yet another compelling offering for the consumers in India with the Arya A1 Plus. The device has been priced at Rs 5,499 ,at which it offers a speedy set of hardware specifications and an alluring design as well. Just like the brand’s first offering, the smartphone has been exclusively made available through Amazon India. While the pre-order starts today, shipping will begin from December 13th.

The Arya A1 Plus comes with a 4.5-inch qHD (960 x 540 pixels resolution) display protected by a glass-based scratch resistant surface. Under the hood, it’s powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6582 processor combined with a gigabyte of RAM. The smartphone offers 8GB of expandable storage, which is better than most competing devices that come with a measly 4GB built-in memory. The device features dual-SIM connectivity and comes with all the essentials including Bluetooth, USB2.o and Wi-Fi. To power this device up, the company has provided an 2,000 mAh battery which should ideally be enough for a day’s worth of usage under standard conditions. The phone comes with Android 4.4 KitKat with a stock interface, and includes a few preloaded appsLast but not the least, the device sports a 5-megapixel camera at the back assisted by an LED flash and a 2-megapixel shooter at the front. Similar to the Arya Z2, the cameras feature software interpolation to deliver 8MP and 5MP shots respectively.
