Obi Launched Aligator S454 with 4.5-inch Display QuadCore Processor Android 4.4 Smartphone At Rs 6,450

Obi Mobiles has launched a new Android KitKat-powered smartphone called Alligator S454 in India. The phone runs Android 4.4 KitKat and comes with support for 18 Indian regional languages. The MRP is pegged at Rs 7,990, but it will be available at a best buy price of Rs 6,450. The device is expected to be formally announced on November 24th.

Coming to the specs, the Obi Alligator S454 sports a 4.5-inch IPS display with qHD resolution, and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The internal memory on board is 8GB, which users can expand up to 32GB using a microSD card. Photography is handled by an 8MP autofocus camera on the back with an LED flash, and a 2MP shooter on the front. The camera features include face detection, face beautification, HDR mode, Multi Shot, and Panorama mode.

The Obi Alligator S454 is offered with dual-SIM slots (both support 3G), Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi, micro-USB, and GPS. The battery capacity is rated at 1,600mAh, which as per the company, delivers eight hours of talk time and 200 hours of standby time. The phone supports FOTA updates, and comes pre-loaded with Truecaller and Hungama apps.

At this price tag, the Obi Alligator S454 will be up against the likes of the Micromax Unite 2review), Lava Iris X1review), Lenovo A328, Intex Aqua Slice Xiaomi Redmi 1s (review) etc.
