SAKRI Launched WinTab and WinlTab 10 Windows 8.1 Tablets At Rs 13,999 and 20,999
SAKRI introduces its tablet brand “WinTAB” with the launch of two Windows 8.1 devices”
Pune-based brand SAKRI has entered into the hardware market with the launch of WinTAB tablets. The company, in collaboration with Microsoft and Intel, has unveiled two Windows-based slates, the WinTab 8 and WinTab 10, priced at Rs 13,999 and Rs 20,999 respectively. These are up for grabs on the company’s website, and will also be available pan India via major retail stores. SAKRI plans to release these tablets in Malaysia and Bangladesh as well.
The WinTab slates are powered by Windows 8.1 with Bing, and come with a year’s subscription to Microsoft Office 365. Both are powered by Intel Atom Z3735D processors with a clock speed of up to 1.83GHz. Other common features of these tablets include HD IPS screens, 2MP front cameras, Wi-Fi, micro-USB, HDMI, and microSD card slots.
Individually, the WinTab 8 boasts a SIM slot for 3G data, and packs a gigabyte of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a 5MP rear camera and a 3,800mAh battery. The WinTab 10 on the other hand, supports 3G dongles via USB, and can also double up as a laptop. It comes with 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, a 2MP rear snapper, and a healthy 7,500mAh battery.
For a limited period, the brand is offering a tablet sleeve, a 32GB microSD card, a USB OTG cable, and a 5,000mAh power bank with the WinTab 8. The WinTab 10 comes bundled with a USB OTG cable, a 64GB microSD card, and a Micromax data dongle.
These slates will be up against the likes of the XOLO Win, Notion Ink Cain 8, iBall Slide WQ149, and Micromax Canvas LapTab.
