Intex Launched Aqua 3G Mini, T4 and T5 Android Smartphone In Range of Rs 3,500

The domestic smartphone maker Intex has launched three new Aqua series entry-level phones. The vendor has listed the new Android 4.4 KitKat-powered smartphones, the Intex Aqua 3G Mini, Aqua T4 and Aqua T5 on its official website. The Aqua 3G Mini has been priced at Rs 3,370, while the Aqua T4 and T5 are both listed at Rs 3,120 each. There’s no official word on their availability, but they are up for grabs from various online retailers at discounted prices.

The three new Intex Aqua smartphones share several features. They sport 3.5-inch HVGA displays, and are powered by 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek processors, all paired with 256MB of RAM. They offer 512MB of inbuilt storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB using microSD cards. Camera wise, they sport 2MP fixed-focus rear cameras with LED flash, and VGA front snappers. Connectivity options include dual-SIM slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB.

Individually, the Intex Aqua T4 and T5 are 2G devices with 1,400mAh batteries, which are rated to up to four hours of calling time and up to 180 hours of standby time. The Intex Aqua 3G Mini, as the name suggests, ships with 3G support and a 1,300mAh battery, which as per the listing delivers up to five hours of talk time and 180 hours of standby time.

The Intex Aqua 3G Mini is offered in plain black and black and blue hues. The Aqua T4 is available in a choice of white and black colours, while the Aqua T5 will be available in white, black, grey and blue variants.

These phones compete against the likes of the Celkon Campus A35K, Micromax Bolt A065, Karbonn Smart A12 Star, Lava Iris 410, and the recently launched Adcom KitKat A40.
