Panasonic has expanded its portfolio of T-series devices by silently launching a new Android KitKat-powered smartphone, the T9. The phone is listed on Indiatimes Shopping for Rs 3,750 in black and blue variants, but the blue-coloured T9 is currently out-of-stock.
Talking about the features, the Panasonic T9 comes with a 3.5-inch capacitive display with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels. It is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor, paired with 512MB of RAM. There is 4GB of internal memory, which you can further expand up to 32GB using a microSD card. The phone sports a 2MP primary camera at the back with an LED flash, and a 0.3MP snapper in the front. In terms of connectivity, the device offers dual-SIM, 2G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth with A2DP. It is fuelled by a 1,300mAh battery, but there’s no word on its talk time or standby time.
At this price point, the Panasonic T9 is up against the likes of the Micromax Bolt A064, Celkon Campus A35K, Lava Iris Style, and iBall Andi 3.5F Grabit.
Panasonic recently launched the T40 smartphone running Android 4.4 KitKat for Rs 5,990. The phone features a 4-inch IPS display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and a 1,500mAh battery. In terms of camera features, the device sports a 5MP rear shooter and a 2MP front snapper. The rest of the specs include 8GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, dual-SIM slots, and the regular set of connectivity options.
