Gionee Launched Marathon M3 With 5,000mAh Battery Android 4.4 Smartphone At Rs 13,999

Recently, Gionee listed the Marathon M3 on its website in India along with the Elife S5.1, but without any word on price and availability. Now before the official launch, the Gionee Marathon M3 is available to buy on eBay India for Rs 13,999. The main highlight of the Marathon M3 is a healthy 5,000mAh battery under the hood, which is rated to deliver 32.46 hours (3G)/51 hours (2G) of talk time, and 32.8 days of standby time… justifying the ‘marathon’ in its moniker. The phone is a successor to the Gionee M2, which offers a 4,200mAh battery.

The Gionee Marathon M3 comes with One Glass Solution-based 5-inch HD IPS display, and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor. The performance is further supported by a Mali 450-MP graphics processor and a gigabyte of RAM. The operating system in charge of handling user operations is Android 4.4 KitKat. The device offers 8GB of internal memory and has a microSD card slot for expansion up to 128GB.

The photography section is covered by an 8MP rear shooter with an LED flash, and a 2MP front snapper. The camera features include Face Beauty, Panorama, Eraser, Face Detection, Geo-tagging, Touch Focus, Gesture Shot and Smile Shot. The dual-SIM smartphone offers 3G, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, and USB OTG as connectivity options.

The Marathon M3 is also equipped with some extra features and apps like Hotknot, Smart Gesture, Gionee Xender, Face Unlock, and Yahoo cricket etc.

Gionee is expected to officially launch the Marathon M3 in the country very soon, along with the Elife S5.1, which is the company’s slimmest smartphone till date, measuring 5.1mm around the waist.
